Lighting: Use a LED light pad under your canvas. It makes the symbols much easier to read and reduces eye strain during long sessions.
Wax Pad: Replace your wax pad frequently. Fresh wax picks up drills more easily. Blue tack or silicone wax alternatives last longer than standard wax.
Color Sorting: Sort drills into labeled storage containers before starting. Working one color at a time across the canvas is faster than switching frequently.
Coverage: Square drills give full coverage with no gaps but are harder to align. Round drills are more forgiving and better for beginners.
