A year with 366 days (Feb 29). Occurs every 4 years, EXCEPT century years unless divisible by 400. 2024: Leap year. 2025-2027: Not. 2028: Leap year. 2100: NOT (century rule). 2000: Was leap year (÷400).

  • Rule 1: Divisible by 4 = leap year
  • Rule 2: Century years (1900, 2000) must be ÷400
