When you click certain links or offer cards on this site and make a purchase, request a quote, or complete another qualifying action, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.
Our Affiliate Programs
We currently participate in the following affiliate networks:
- Amazon Associates: As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through Amazon product links and carousels shown on calculator pages.
- CJ Affiliate: We use the CJ Affiliate network primarily to connect readers with Angi for free local-contractor quotes (electricians, plumbers, roofers, and other home-service professionals), as well as a number of retail brand offers (for example Chemical Guys, Expedia, and Aiper).
- FlexOffers: We use the FlexOffers network for additional retail and service brand offers (for example TransUnion, Batteries Plus, and Open Farm, among others).
We may add or remove affiliate partners over time as our offers change.
How Affiliate Content Is Marked
Affiliate and sponsored links on this site carry a rel="sponsored" attribute (combined with rel="nofollow") in line with search engine guidelines for paid and affiliate links. A plain-language disclosure, such as "Affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you," "We may earn a commission... at no extra cost to you," or "As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases," also appears directly next to or below the offer, product carousel, or "Find a Pro" card.
Our Calculators Are Not for Sale
No sponsor, advertiser, or affiliate partner reviews, approves, or influences a calculator's formulas, default values, or results before publication. Affiliate relationships determine only which product, service, or lead-generation offer appears alongside a calculator, never the math.
